Short Order Poems: Predictive Text Poetry

Peer Development launch Party

August 18th, 2017

Poets Tim Bradford and Chad Reynolds spent the evening positioned behind vintage typewriters during our launch party at Leaf+Bean, a coffee and tea shop in Oklahoma City's historic Deep Deuce District. Inspired by our No One Knows Me Like My Cellphone project, the poets encouraged attendees to provide ten to twenty of the words they use most when texting. With those words, Tim and Chad typed up unique, and often absurd, pieces of poetry.

Chad and Tim are the founders of Short Order Poems, a collective of poets in the Oklahoma City area who offer poems on demand, on whatever topic you choose, on typewriters. They host pop-ups at various happenings around Oklahoma and are active participants in the city's poetry and creative writing scence.
